If you are someone who keeps up with new technology as it is released, you may already know all about Google’s most recent change to its search algorithms. If not, it may be worthwhile to learn at least the basics. All website owners are impacted by the decisions Google makes about how to rank its search results. When those decisions change, they can have a dramatic impact upon your website’s rankings. You can move from first place all the way down to tenth, or vice versa. You may even be wiped from the displayed results altogether. Google named the update Hummingbird because the new algorithm is designed to produce faster, more accurate results.
